Gong Xi Fa Cai from Team Jet Fynn Photography

Image
There is always a time to celebrate and at times we celebrate while working to capture beautiful memories for our clients. At the same time, we do enjoy ourselves too as our team have always done. The reason being that is due to the fact that we do love to capture images that our clients will keep as a historical keepsakes for future generations. With that thought embedded in all our team members even before they joined us, we believe that the cause for our existence is fully justified as our hearts are set at the right places instead of thinking of doing our job as work. As Chinese New Year comes once every year, all of us take our time off to celebrate and remind ourselves to be prosperous in wealth, health and also not forgetting wisdom too. Here we are wishing everyone "GONG X FA CAI!" P/S: There were a few more members in the team not featured here as they were working elsewhere during this shot which was done during a company annual dinner for King Hup Motors S...

After ROM, what else to do?

Image
Usually at Registration of Marriage or more commonly known as ROM, it is a private affair where only the close relatives and friends attend. Couples usually hire a professional photographer when they know that those memories are rare and priceless! To us at Jet Fynn Photography, we go the extra mile a little bit when clients hire us. Then again, couples who loved our work will listen and carry out what we envisioned before the shoot! Here's one of them to share here:

What are friends for?

Image
What are friends for? Friends in a wedding really cheers up the environment and the mood!  The sharing of joyous moments with friends, relatives and other family members do brighten up a day already happy as these moments for many, comes once in a lifetime.  All these people will come from far and near to celebrate with the bride & groom on their wedding. We here at Jet Fynn Photography, Ipoh looks for all these or even suggests the people to give us these poses to be captured by us so that the moments of the day are kept for eternity! Anyone getting married? Just give us a call!

Tun Dr. Lim Chong Eu, ex-Chief Minister of Penang

Image
After hearing about the passing of Tun Dr.Lim Chong Eu, we remembered we have taken pictures of him very recently. He was a very jovial and approachable person.  He looked very healthy too. Because of that, we were shocked that he had passed on yesterday via the news as it was just a few months ago that we had the honour of shooting one ex-chief minister and one the current chief minister together. ( Perhaps this is one of the rare pictures of both chief ministers together? ) Here's sharing some of the pictures taken during that day.  Both Tun Dr. Lim Chong Eu and Lim Guan Eng having a casual chat. Tun Dr. Lim walking in steady strides on the red carpet.. Deep condolences to Tun's family and the people of Penang. :-(

University Teknologi Petronas Graduates Photoshoot at Jet Fynn Studio

Image
Some graduates of Universiti Teknologi Petronas or UTP wanted something different from the common commercial studio's offerings and they came over to our Jet Fynn Studio here in Ipoh for their graduation photoshoot last year for a more personalised type of images. We obliged to their special requests to have something different and here below are some of the samples from their photoshoot and many of them loved it so much and they even recommended many of their friends to make appointments as well. We truly enjoyed ourselves as many of them came from near and as far as from Sarawak as well! Not only that, their families were involved in the photoshoot sharing the joys of the achievement and it shows in the outcome too!

Burger King, Burger King! BURGER KING!

Image
We were asked to cover the Burger King official opening event in Ipoh recently and the response to the event was very encouraging as the customers went in and out non-stop. There were games, contests, 2 beautiful princess for the "King" of the day photoshoot, music and many many more! We also set up an instant print centre for clients to get their 4R prints as well. Many of them took home a lot of beautiful memories of going to Burger King on that day. We were glad to be part of the whole process.

C.A.T.S. The Musical - Ipoh Version

Image
CATS, The Musical, the show that I dreamed of seeing since I knew about it, but then it's located overseas. When I had the chance to shoot the cast of the local version, I jumped at the opportunity to do so. For these I had to thank Datin Rosalina Ooi for she assembled the CATS team, trained them personally and gave them the opportunity to perform as well. I must say they are great! The charisma, agility and the performance takes a person's breathe away. I'm sure they took mine.

Victorian Rhapsody in Keretapi Tanah Melayu Station. Ipoh

Image
This is one event where one can wonder, Victorian era theme for a charity function? At first, we were wondering how the theme can be accepted by the Ipoh community at large. Then again, with the guidance of Adrian Fu, the organiser, the event went well. Very successful I would say. Glad that we the Jet Fynn Photographers were able to be part of the event that is held at the KTM Station. How appropriate! The ambience of the place do lend itself to a Victorian era feel to it. The participants themselves also took it to themselves to dress appropriately to adhere to the theme. With the added fashion show and also Datin Rosalina personally teaching the participants to a classical dance routine, everyone had FUN!

Golf Tournament in Meru Golf Club

Image
Dug out some pics from the archives and this is the first golf tournament that I have covered. Met a number of nice golfers in this event and all had a great time playing the field in Meru Club. Event organised by Ipoh Container Terminal or ICT for short.

Shafiq's Birthday

Image
This birthday assignment was called by the grandma and was held in Kinderland School. The guest of honour is actually Hamburglar from Mac Donald's! All the classmates had fun with the games and of course, the food as well. Kids really can enjoy themselves! Glad to be part of the celebration capturing their wonderful day!
