Teaching in TAR College, Kampar

Image
My tour of duty spending 14 weeks travelling up and down from Ipoh to Kampar twice a week teaching basic photography course to 48 college students in TAR College has been a nice experience just like last year. They are budding flowers, need to water them, add fertilizers, nurture them for the entire 14 weeks. The achievement? Satisfaction in seeing them grow from a total newbie to photographers that knows how to shoot and differentiate the good compositions from the bad. Time seems to fly so fast when we are enjoying it. Thank you so much all the students of DPR in TAR College for allowing me to rant and "torture" you all to be able to do "light painting". You are all future budding photography artists!

Our work was published in Metro Ahad newspaper

One morning I was soundly asleep when I got an sms from our client which reads, "Your photos of our wedding was featured in Metro Ahad 20th May 2012 and they even mentioned Jet Fynn Photography there. Its the best wedding anniversary we've ever had. Thanks 2 U....." And to think that this couple had already been married for 4 years and with 2 kids! I'm very happy for Halim and Azneen too! Great anniversary present! Here's the page from the Metro Ahad:

Terry and Jovo Wedding

It was a small town called Teluk Intan which the wedding took place where the bride married the groom whose house was not too far away in Langkap. The beauty is that sometimes love is not found nearby, as both of them met in a place called Singapore. Coincidences? Or someone up there pulled some strings? That we may not know or understand. We started our journey very early just before sunrise here in Ipoh and traveled all the way to Teluk Intan to cover their wedding in the best possible way to show their lovely wedding day. Here's sharing some of their pictures from their lovely day.

2012 is here! 2012 is here!

Here we are already 12 days to 2012 and this will be the first blog of the year from us, Jet Fynn the Ipoh Photographers....... So fast? What happened to 2011? Time flies when we are busy doing work and whatever time we have is spent doing work for clients. Hence sometimes we don't really update our blogs much though we atheart, we hope that we could update our blogs often so that people who follows us knows what we have been up to. There were a number of items we would like to achieve this year and hopefully, all the plans can materialise. Here's sharing one of the most beautiful legs that we have shot recently.....Not forgetting the shoes are as elegant as well! Here's to a Happy and Prosperous 2012!

Coming to the end of 2011

It's time of the year again to wish everyone a very Happy Christmas and a Merry New Year! 2011 has been a very fruitful year for us and though we still keep a very low profile, we have had the opportunity to serve quite a number of clients. We also took in apprentices and they really soak in whatever we teach them by observing what we do and also the classes that we conducted in the studio. Min Ho also had an opportunity to serve a a lecturer in TAR College Kampar for 1 semester teaching a group of college students as well. Looking back, next year would have more in store for our clients and students too. First in the list, we have been doing sensor cleaning services but never really told anyone except our students. Let us take this opportunity to say that sensor cleaning services is officially open! Other than sensor cleaning, we can also teach you how to clean them yourself as well. Here's wishing all of you a productive 2011 and for the coming 2012, stay product...

Graduation Photography with a Difference! For Ipoh and other areas as well.

Sometimes we get enquiries from many clients asking us whether we do something different from what the usual studios are offering. We actually do a lot more than the common "walk in, smile, click!, thank you!" We take time to actually know you a little, ask you what type of response you like to have from people looking at your graduation photos. Some would like to have grand looking graduation pictures / portraits, some may want to show that "sense of achievement", some would like to be proud of themselves and some would ask for something really out of the ordinary. (That we always do....hehehehe.) Hence, our graduation pictures have many of our clients recommending their juniors and other friends to check us out. We may not post much here, just drop by and tell us what you want and we will take it from there. Though our photography studio is based in Ipoh, to date, we have had clients not only from Ipoh, we had people from Penang, Kuala Lumpur, Kedah, Mel...

Teaching in TAR College

Image
It's been some time since I wrote on this blog. Perhaps been too busy or just plain no pick me up to write. Anyway, I'm enjoying my weekend with no photoshoot in the morning session so I would like to share a bit on my experience lecturing in TAR College to about 50 students there. 14 weeks have gone by and they are from total newbies until they are rather good after the course. Here's sharing some of my pictures and life with them in the college. Gonna miss them a lot.
