Not enough gloss on your lips? Try this!

Image
In case of emergency, sometimes brides go to great lengths to make sure they look good! Sometimes they may go to extreme make-up methods which is waaaayyyyyyy out of the normal practise. A good example would be this: Scenario: Bride not enough lip gloss. Solution : Use whatever gloss that is in the room. Here's how it looks like: P/S: Do not try this at home. We do not know whether the chemicals in the usage of this type of gloss is FDA approved or not! Use at your own discretion. Don't quote us if you do!

Life Imitates Art or Art Imitates Life?

Sometimes when we shoot a wedding, we do take note of our surroundings and the details that are present in it. Certain people loves to collect figurines and other collectibles that we can use as "props" for their wedding photoshoot. Here's an example of this:

GOLD! A must have accessory in a wedding

Image
Gold, a mere mention of the word will bring about a lot of intense memory of value and stuffs that associates with it, especially during any weddings be it in Malaysia or in other parts of the world especially in Asia where gold has and have always been held in high esteem on keeping the value as compared to other forms of jewelry for a wedding. Today's sharing is from a wedding done where it was placed on a tray for a few minutes only and I had to shoot the item before it was taken to be given to the couple. The shine is so clear that I can even see myself in it too!. Here's wishing everyone a Happy, Productive, Healthy and Wealthy 2013!

Songsheet from Church Wedding

Image
Where love is, a wedding will follow...... with blessings in the church. Sometimes small details from a church wedding where the pianist played the beautiful song may have resounded in many of the attendees ears. Then again, some will ask, what song was that? To me, capturing that detail do preserve a certain amount of history where it can be shared amongst friends and other family members or even great grandchildren when the time comes.

Teaching in TAR College, Kampar

Image
My tour of duty spending 14 weeks travelling up and down from Ipoh to Kampar twice a week teaching basic photography course to 48 college students in TAR College has been a nice experience just like last year. They are budding flowers, need to water them, add fertilizers, nurture them for the entire 14 weeks. The achievement? Satisfaction in seeing them grow from a total newbie to photographers that knows how to shoot and differentiate the good compositions from the bad. Time seems to fly so fast when we are enjoying it. Thank you so much all the students of DPR in TAR College for allowing me to rant and "torture" you all to be able to do "light painting". You are all future budding photography artists!

Our work was published in Metro Ahad newspaper

One morning I was soundly asleep when I got an sms from our client which reads, "Your photos of our wedding was featured in Metro Ahad 20th May 2012 and they even mentioned Jet Fynn Photography there. Its the best wedding anniversary we've ever had. Thanks 2 U....." And to think that this couple had already been married for 4 years and with 2 kids! I'm very happy for Halim and Azneen too! Great anniversary present! Here's the page from the Metro Ahad:

Terry and Jovo Wedding

Image
It was a small town called Teluk Intan which the wedding took place where the bride married the groom whose house was not too far away in Langkap. The beauty is that sometimes love is not found nearby, as both of them met in a place called Singapore. Coincidences? Or someone up there pulled some strings? That we may not know or understand. We started our journey very early just before sunrise here in Ipoh and traveled all the way to Teluk Intan to cover their wedding in the best possible way to show their lovely wedding day. Here's sharing some of their pictures from their lovely day.
