In an Indian wedding when the couple goes back home after the temple ceremony, the family members will ask the couple for a small "toll" as an inducement for then to unlock and open the door. The amount may not be much actually and the token amount is shared amongst themselves. Sometimes the groom has his own ideas to have fun during these times (The Groom Whisperer a.k.a. The Photographer) also "helps" a bit in the games. The photos will have some form of a nice storyline to share in the future. As for us, the Jet Fynn Photography team based here in Ipoh has always prodded clients to have fun and have a great time during their weddings. That will make our jobs easier in addition to creating an atmosphere where all guests are willing participants in the games which will eventually be recorded in a stunningly visual experience later when the photos or albums are delivered.    After all these, do you think the groom can get away with just paying 5 cents? ...

Our clients at times asked us to fulfill their innermost desires to be able to capture their personality during a studio graduation photoshoot. They wanted something different, something more than the traditional pose of the graduate standing with the scroll and of course, the library backdrop which for umpteen years that has been the main backdrop for most shoot almost everywhere. Traditional games that the bride's "sisters" play on the groom and his entourage usually comes with a simple theme that tries to measure the love the groom has for his bride. Then again, nowadays many of the are inspired too much by the social media until certain games are done in bad taste which tend to humiliate rather than to give a challenge. (That, we leave to another post later with pics.....) We as photographers at times are precision shooters I must say as there are times we really must aim and shoot like a sniper that we see in movies where 1 shot means it must hit the target or else that moment will be gone forever! Experienced photographers who aim to achieve that goal are hard to come by actually as compared to the many GWC's out there. One of the churches that we have always loved to shoot in is the  Church of Our Mother of Perpetual Help in Ipoh Garden. The church's interior is rather classic with challenging lighting situations and of course, the certain rules for the photographer who wants to use flash. Then again, our job is to shoot the moments and we have to tackle these challenges head on without the rules breaking our spirit. Since we are professional photographers doing our job, we cannot tell our clients the situation does not permit us to be at our best. We have to make do with whatever situations that comes to us and able to deliver as well. One thing about weddings, there has never been a wedding that is the same and these are the things that spurs us further and gives us the adrenalin push to achieve higher. One of the joys of being a wedding photographer is to work in wee hours on an actual day wedding when everyone is still practically asleep. The other person would be the make up artist who would arrive at least half an hour to one hour earlier than us......   We have been doing these for years and come to think of it, we still LOVED to do it! Our experiences with weddings all these years tells us one thing. There's ALWAYS something NEW to expect and no two weddings are alike.
