At times, we saw something interesting that is about to happen and we have to make decisions fast to capture that moment in time. It may not be perfectly sharp or perfect and yet the moment is truly priceless! Moments that is very, very difficult to replicate as the genuineness of the action once repeated, something is sure to be missing.

Here's sharing one of our Malay wedding moment taken somewhere in Ipoh.

Every culture's wedding ceremonies is unique already with their own customs and traditions. For example an Indian wedding will have many similarities across all the Indian traditions and yet it's their sub-culture's customs which makes them stand out individually, thus we are able to differentiate which sub-culture they belong to. The milk bathing ceremony is practiced by Ceylonese Indians, they are from Sri Lanka, formerly known as Ceylon, an island just at the south of India. It takes place very early at home of the groom before they just before they start the journey to the temple proper to perform the wedding ceremony. Wedding Ring

In many cultures, in fact in most of the weddings that we took, rings plays a very important part in what most people will call, "Sealing of marriage vows" It's true. Be it a Chinese wedding, Indian wedding, Malay wedding or even amongst other cultures ie: Western / Christian weddings. How we work

In the scheme of things, we have to work in many local and sometimes in other areas which we haven't been before. Hence, impromptu shooting after say a few minutes of recce in a surrounding area will suffice especially when the luxury of time is a main factor when we do these types of outdoor shoot. Weather conditions also play a big part in deciding whether the planned outdoor shoot can take place or not. When we do have an outdoor shoot, it will always end in a fun time for all those involved as we will ask the couples to do the conventional stuffs and not to forget, the fancy stuffs as well. This was taken in Batu Kurau. The day had a very heavy rain and all the original plan for the outdoor shoot was washed away and the "supposed" river dunking session had to be called off as the river had fast rising waters and the current was also too strong for comfort. Due to that we had to stay on ground level for most of the outdoor shoot.
